I have a question about courtesy calls and how to stop them .. Everyday we get calls from a credit card company trying to lower our rates. It always says press nine or some number to be removed from their calling list...
So you press 9, but then they call back again the next day, so you press one to talk to someone.. When you ask that person to remove you from their calling list, they hang up on you.It is the same way with the alarm company that keeps calling.
Its there some law that can put a stop to this. They call home phones & cell phones, It doesn't matter.
I thought when you pressed nine or whatever number they tell you to press the had to remove you from their call list. ?
You cant star 69 them back, I have tried many times, But the call wont go threw.
How can someone put a stop to these calls ?
