What I remember most about Sesame Street, besides the catchy tune, was that it taught tolerance. It wasn't a blatant, shove-it-down-your-throat kind of teaching, it merely was. There were children, some were different and it was not only okay that they were different, it was welcomed! Such important lessons for our society.
