I would like to open an invitation to any/all Gay and Lesbian individuals/couples to contact us. We are interested in building a community with-in a community, building solidarity and raising a clear voice to the Greater Bakersfield Community. We are not looking to be activists or- gawd forbid- extremists. We are simply hoping to bring acceptance and tolerance to an otherwise intolerant city. Please fell free to reply or send an e-mail. Everything will be kept in the strictest confidence. Take Care!! Here's the deal folks- I will post some things that might strike way outside your comfort zone. I make no apologies (now or later). What I can tell you is that it is darn windy and everything in the house is coated in a layer of dust. Guess what I'll be doing for the next four hours? Still, I wouldn't live anywhere else. Not while I have a wonderful husband, a cozy home and neighbors that keep their yards picked up.
