Greatings Bakersfeild! The North of the River Recreation and Park District is developing a commission to update the districts Master Plan. We are inviting the community to express their thoughts, ideas, and concerns towards the future development of community parks, facilities, programs, open space, etc. We welcome your views and thank you for your participation.

What needs and desires does the North of the River community have that are not being fulfilled? We thank you for all comments and suggestions. We at North of the River want the community to take ownership of its recreation and parks needs. The future of the communities parks, facilities, programs, and much more are currently being researched and developed. Now's the time to actively participate and have your voice heard. Please take a few minutes to express your thoughts about what the future of Bakersfield's should be. This will be a living blog, so don't forget about us.
