        <title>No Pain No Gain - a new experience - Nanette13&apos;s Blog - The Bakersfield Voice</title>
        <link>http://www.bakersfieldvoice.com/home/Blog/Nanette13/32208</link>
        <description>I&#039;m in my third of ten week training for the October 11th Volkslauf event.....and boy am i sore! The training has been going well and though i may not be able to tell if im losing weight or inches my husband sure is noticing! I can say that I am feeling better about myself and I can almost feel some ab muscles under the soft gift of my two children. My legs are sore especially my lower legs....its from all the running im not used to but my bodies adjusting. I just have to keep on keeping on, like they say no pain no gain!&amp;nbsp;
I&#039;ve been using the body bug program for the last week and I think its so cool. This band I wear on my arm calculates all the calories I burn throughout the day, during routine tasks and during my&amp;nbsp;training. It helps me visualize how much effort I&#039;m putting in to my workouts, and how much I burn with each activity.&amp;nbsp; I also input what I eat at each meal and the program caculates my calorie intake.&amp;nbsp; This helps me visualize&amp;nbsp;exactly how many of nutrients or fat im consuming and what the balance is between calories burned, and&amp;nbsp;calories consumed.&amp;nbsp; My trainer has set up a goal for me to reach each day and I think its great because it keeps me going and pushes me to make that goal on a day to day bases........Thanks Leigh!
I&#039;ll be keeping you posted on my progress! Thanks for the support!</description>

                <title>Aug 21,  2008 at 09:08 AM : No pain, no gain! Too...</title>
                <description>&lt;p&gt;No pain, no gain! Too true. I&#039;m super sore today from Volkslauf training, but it&#039;s a good sore. The kind that reminds you of all the hard work and effort you&#039;ve put in to a day&#039;s work out. What over shadows the pain though is the fun we have trudging in the sandy river beds together and how awesome we&#039;re going to look in ten weeks!!!!!&lt;/p&gt;
