Bakersfield City then came out and put those traffic measures out last spring and nothing came of it. Now, a child got hit amd Thank you GOD she was only scraped and bruised, but Bakersfield City NOW sets up bright green crossing signs showing a parent and child crossing on them. NOW (2 days later) caution crossing signs are being put up on Luciano. But riddle me this, WILL THAT STOP THE SPEEDERS and DANGER on Luciano?</p> <p>I know they, (the City),&nbsp;were put on notice last spring as my husband called and left a message worried about the safety of the children crossing Luciano and they came out and put those wires in the road to measure traffic (?) but nothing ever came of it until today. I am so very thankful that child is okay- bumped and bruised I heard but OK.
