Wow anyone been to Disneyland recently? We took my daughter to celebrate her 2nd Birthday there recently and while a lot has changed now-it's really a big corporate atmosphere with downtown disney and all the other companies that have a presence on the Disney properties, but the rides and characters really had my daughter and the rest of us who went having a great time. This was the first time I have ever been with a child so I have to say it's a lot more fun when your kid is riding a ride with you and she's having a good time than if you're just doing it by yourself or even with a good friend. There's just something about a child having a good time that lifts your spirit. It's an awesome feeling that's hard to describe, but nevertheless very real.
What are your favorite Disneyland memories?

My Disneyland memory will DATE me, big time. I remember going to Disneyland when I was very young, almost too young to remember. But years later as I was digging through a drawer full of odds and ends, I found old ticket books -- with the "E" ticket coupons still attached! I wish I would have kept those, just to show my kids. They have no idea what an E-ticket ride is.
