Q. I want to make some changes in my house but I don't know where to begin. I definitely cannot buy a lot of new things, and the things I do have are not new and not all that great. Where do I begin?

A. You would be very suprised what a trained decorator can do with what you already own! Many people have items that they wouldn't even consider using, but a redesigner will see them in a different way, and you can too.

Clear your room - clear your mind - and then begin.

Floral arrangements or greenery? Look outside. Your yard is full of items that would look beautiful in a vase.

Artwork? Gosh, magazines have great pictures you could add an inexpensive frame to. Even greeting cards can be framed. Or buy a few artist canvas boards and spray paint them or wrap them with wrapping paper.

Have a friend over for inspiration, and hands-on help. And if you still are feeling challenged, call for a redesign today!
