As I sit and type my first blog on neighborhood etiquette, I am thinking of how to properly describe how I have been feeling about our neighbors dogs nonstop barking. First of all, we have a dog. A golden retriever/english springer mix. He is 3 years old and fortunately the only time he barks is when he is letting us know if somebody is on our property, or if another dog is in the surrounding area or if we aren't throwing the ball quick enough.
We purchased our home 2 years ago. Our previous neighbors had two small dogs...need I say more? Constant barking. Nonstop. So, when we moved here and didn't hear barking, we were so happy. Until...our neighbors sold there house and new neighbors moved in. In a perfect world, new prospective neighbors would have to submit a resume and an interview process would insue.
