Hi Dina,
Training a horse is lots of fun, but it really helps to have someone train you first. You need to look around for someone who can help guide you through the process. When evaluating a trainer, look for someone who is respectful of the animal. Pain is not part of training. At the same time horses without discipline are dangerous. One of the first things a horse needs to learn is to stay out of our space. A horse that makes the other horse move, wins! (Becomes the dominant horse) Be sure that your horse moves away from you and that you don't move away from the horse!
