I love living in the land of the free. It is a privilege. However, there are also great injustices done everyday. I have never been called to jury. However, in my opinion, before arbitrarily sending out jury summons there should be a certain amount of fulfilled criteria. A pre-questionnaire of sorts, before a potential juror even steps into the court. Much like a personality test or maybe a psychological examination. Many companies do this for pre-employment. Why not before holding someone's freedom in your hands? I also do believe much of the younger generation, like myself when I was younger, do lack enough life experiences to make decisions to ones freedom.
