Someone on the radio (a talk show host who will remain nameless) also pointed out the new problems created in---get this---the prison system if Proposition 8 passes. In order to abide by the law, prisons will need to devise new rules for same sex inmates who choose to wed. To prevent the inevitable "worst case scenario," where a weaker inmate is forced into matrimony or where adultry among "married inmates" leads to violence, taxpayers will need to fork over more money than they already do to ensure that the prisoners can also benefit from same-sex marriage (along with enjoy cable TV, Internet, and other privileges).
