About Murphy1951 AKA, Murphyslaw KountryBoy _______Spot 57 and retired. Went to Delano Joint Union High during the late 60's when it was an open campus, no fence and the only time you saw a Policeman on campus was if some one was in trouble. Majored in Industrial arts and helped teach others in Auto shop because I knew more than what was taught or was in the school books. For teaching others, I received an automatic A+ during the entire course. Volunteered for the Army in Aug of 1970. Retirement wasn't by choice but due to two different injury's, the first one in 89 almost retired me and the one in 2003 did, both injuries were work related. Love going to Cambria every chance we get and Hurst Castle or just anything to do with the Coast like the Queen Mary and Fish Aquariums. Have five children by my first marriage ( Velda Sue) and eight Grand children. My present Wife ( Guinevere) has two Daughters of which I adopt in the first of 2007, both teenagers as of this date of 2009, are 19 and 18. Two Dogs, a Husky named Timber and a Queensland Terrier named Freckles because of the Freckles from her eyes, to her nose. Had a Black Wolf with White under belly, she passed away from cancer in 2000, she was a trained attack Dog, Best Animal and friend I ever had. We like mostly anything that gets us out of town like The LA Zoo Universal Studios, Coast, Disneyland. For most cases where its offered, we buy yearly passes and use em as much as we can go. Pioneer Village is also one of my Favorites whether I go with the Family, or by myself. It's quiet and it's like stepping into another time zone from the past. When I go by myself, I just take my time and look for what I may have missed before. Some times I wish I could just go back a hundred years or so. We like most anything to do with Animals and Kids. A couple of years ago, I took all of my Grand kids to Disneyland,,,, sure would like to do it again and the Wife and I just went a few weeks ago, we're ready to go again. When we take the Grand kids, I just get a kick out of watching them have their fun, that's the main thing to me, the kids enjoying themselves. Later on after my first injury, I received a degree in Business Administration in 1991. Ran a mechanics shop for20 years, 1970 to 1990 and a Call Fireman with KCFD from 1978 to 1988 on Blood Alley, Hwy 46West of Lost Hills, if you were in a wreck on that road during that time frame you most likely saw my smiling face. Most people in Rosedale would know me from the Fastrip on Rosedale and Allen From the time the store opened in about 1993 until mid 2000. I was Fired so that the new manager would have a free hand in ripping off the stores profit's , he did and was caught and fired himself less than six months later. Firing me, didn't protect the idiot, they caught the fool any way. ;=))).
