About Bruce
I was born and raised on the prairies of Manitoba and Saskatchewn in Western Canada, but I have lived in California most of my adult life. I began writing songs as a high school student, and began to professionally record songs in 1988. My songs have been nationally aired, I've had a cameo on an MTV-award-nominated top hit music video by the band, Cake, and I've recently had a top 30 mp3 download hit of my own on a popular free MP3 site. I write songs representing nearly every style of music and my songs generally tell a story. My voice doesn't match all of the songs I write, so I am continually looking for vocalists to cover my material. I often write songs from my perspective as a psychologist, and have written and recorded several CDs, including tributes to Buck Owens and Johnny Cash.
