Rusty Shoop will be holding a book signing at Barnes & Noble Booksellers on Saturday, April 5, 2008 from 12-4 p.m and at Russo's at the Marketplace on April 19th from 1-3 pm for his novel Blood Harvest.

Back cover:

Rusty Shoop has been an on-air television news personality in Bakersfield, California since 1984.  In January of ’07, a brain aneurysm put Rusty’s career on hold.  That’s when he decided to revisit a novel he had written a number of years prior.  In Blood Harvest, Rusty draws on his own experience as a newsman in Bakersfield, as his protagonist, Eyewitness News anchorman Jake Adams, investigates a murder mystery of grand proportions.  So enjoy the ride, and bundle up, the fog is settling in over the San Jacinto Valley.

Editor's note: Please join with The Northwest Voice in congratulating Rusty Shoop on his return to the spotlight with his novel Blood Harvest.  Congratulations, Rusty!

Way to go Rusty!!! Remember, you have many, many friends and we will support you. What a way to overcome a near tragedy. Can we expect a sequel?
