Jillian Medina is an eleven year-old Red Belt at Han's Taekwondo Academy. She is a Team Leader and a very responsible young lady. She was heavily involved in the Han's Taekwondo Toys for Tots toy drive and she managed to help collect hundreds of toys for the Marines.
Jillian is a State, Regional, and National Champion in Taekwondo. She practices 6 days a week in order to prepare for the upcoming U.S. Open in Las Vegas, Nevada. She will be the lowest ranking in participation since all participants in her division are Black Belts. She will be performing a courageous feat and we wish her good luck!
U.S. Open update: There are already over 1400 athletes, 300 coaches, 70 international referees, over 40 different nations registered. In addition, there will be 5 2008 Beijing Olympians and 10 confirmed National Teams competing. This event is expected to be one of the most memorable events.
