How Did I Get To Be So Darn Old
I kept thinking that I was young! This year (2006), I had a long hard look in the mirror and saw the midline expansion (aka fat), the silver coloring in the gold (aka grey in my blonde), and wisdom lines in my face (aka wrinkles). Then, I look around and the next generation has saturated everything I was thought was my "thing". What the *#(& "How did I get to be so darned old"!?!?
I am trying now, to figure out just where I fit in in this new enlightenment. Maybe, that is why I have been a bit blue!? I sure am grateful for my rock (aka David). He has been a wonderful place to fall. It makes this aging thing a little less sharp...Ya know?
Anyway...Lookin forward to the challeges of the New Year (2007). It is gonna be the year I start finding my place...Or atleast that is what I am planning. Ugh! Why does it all have to be so darned hard!?
