Dear Olivia, thankyou for your condolences,,,I am sorry about your dad also. Dads are so special. I think about mine every day, Once in awhile, I dream I am a little girl spending with my dad. I wake up feeling as if it really happend. Its nice to have a visit from him , in my dreams now and then. Congrats on the new baby...Sherry
Hi Olivia-
I owe you a huge apology in just now getting back to you. I think my excuse is going to be that we had my Mom wind up in the E.R. about the time you sent this & even though I hate to admit it, I think I wasn't quite on top of things. Totally whiffed this one.
So, yes I am still the Kern County Liaison for the Devil Pups program. I will take you up on the invite to do a write-up. We're getting some great responses so far this year & I haven't even promoted it yet. Even have faculty at Garces High & other high schools calling to get kids in because some of their students went through the program last summer and they are pleased with the results.
It will good for your boys when they get to 14. Wish I'd have gone through it as a teen... I would have been a better Marine for it. Take care & tell your husband ooo-rah for me.
Thanks, Dick
