About SandiM
I'm a mother of two, beautiful teen-aged girls. Both keep me busy, of course, but I also find time to edit The Bakersfield Voice. In addition to being a mom to my daughters, I am a mom to a set of furry friends, too. Blue is our 10-year-old black lab – LOVE her! Dobby the Cat, our house elf, but she doesn't do windows! And Jasper, my oldest daughter's cat, named for a character in "Twilight." Our newest addition is Rumor, a lab/border collie mix we rescued from a shelter. I enjoy traveling with my husband and family. I've been to England twice, Germany once and hope to one day visit Egypt. I will be going to Paris soon with my mom, my aunt and my sister.
